Energy costs are changing — and so is our climate. Buildings sit at the center of both conversations.
Join Energy Conservation Works (ECW) for an Energy Efficiency Strategies round table discussion focused on practical, real-world strategies for improving building performance in Jackson Hole and Teton County. This event brings together builders, architects, engineers, property managers, homeowners, and community members interested in climate and energy to connect, share insights, and explore what’s next.
Over the past six months, ECW has partnered with ICLEI and the Coalition for Green Capital, with support from Energy 350 and Apex Analytics, to identify high-impact strategies to reduce building energy use and emissions in our cold-climate region. This work focuses on market barriers, cost challenges, permitting processes, and the tools needed to scale energy efficiency locally.
At this round table, ECW and our consultant team will share key findings from that work, including:
How heat pumps perform in cold climates — and what matters most in system design
Energy code trends and what potential updates could mean locally
Strategies to reduce project friction in permitting and delivery
Approaches to lowering upfront cost barriers and helping projects pencil
What efficiency solutions make the most sense in Jackson Hole’s building stock
Following a short presentation, we’ll open the conversation to hear what you’re seeing in the field and what would be most helpful to move this work forward in our community. Whether you design buildings, manage them, live in them, or care about climate solutions, this event is an opportunity to engage with peers and leave with practical ideas you can apply.
Light refreshments provided.
We hope you’ll join us.
